While most games needs to be installed on a drive "C:" path, the tools and games included with Dapplegrey (the ‚"Toolbox"‘ and the "Games Included" listings), will be started from drive T: (the Toolbox drive letter) instead. For example, if you run MJVGA which is included in the "Games Included" listing, you can save your savegames to an user-defined drive "C:" setting, while the folder which holds the game automatically has been mounted as drive ‚T:‘. To set this type of "Drive C:", please open the "Specify base 'drive C: path" menu item located in the "File" menu. Look at the screenshot, we‘re saving a MJVGA savegame to "c:filename". The file will be saved to the C_Drive added by the user using the Drives symbol -> "Set Hard Disk drive C:…". You shouldn‘t save your MJVGA games to drive "T:" (the Toolbar letter), because these savedgames may will be lost when upgrading Dapplegrey to a newer version. | ||
