Dapplegrey Help

Using Drive C: in user's games entries

This dialog is available through the Drives symbol located in the main window, by selecting its item "Set Hard Disk drive C:…"

DriveC

The Drive C: setting offers an option to mount a subfolder of the game as drive C:, and Dapplegrey will let DOSBox change to the game's subdirectory before trying to run the game automatically.
If the game needed to be installed before, and it has been installed into a sub directory of the drive C: given, please browse again to game folder using this dialog window.
Also, some games doesn‘t like to be hosted on root level "C:", which belongs to the bottom-most entry of this Pull-down menu.
If you don‘t see a subfolders list as you may expect, press the button to
re-allocate the subfolders of the game.

Readme files in the Drive-C:-Path:

Readable files are also listed in this window.

If you click in "View file", PDF files will be opened with Preview or a similar application, and HTML files will be opened in your Browser. Other files will be opened from within Dapplegrey directly.

When a text file is selected in the "Readme files found:" Popup menu item, click the button "Open with TextEdit" to open it with TextEdit on your Mac.
